Our Practice
Simon & Dee Optometrists has been caring for the Gisborne community for years. Today, under Dee's leadership, that same commitment to whole-person eye care continues.
Our Story
Simon & Dee Optometrists has long been a trusted part of the Gisborne community. When Dee took over the practice from founder Simon Leong in 2024, she brought with her more than two decades of experience in health sciences and a deep commitment to the values that made the practice what it is.
We believe that great eye care goes beyond a prescription. It means taking the time to understand each patient — their lifestyle, their concerns, and their long-term vision health. That philosophy shapes every appointment we have.
From young children having their first eye test to pilots requiring CASA-compliant aviation assessments, we are equipped to care for patients at every stage of life.
